Richard Marsh has participated in Run to Home Base for the past four years to raise money and awareness for veterans experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder. Originally held at Fenway Park in Boston, teams were given the option during the COVID-19 pandemic to either assemble at Fenway or select an alternate route. Last year, Marsh walked from the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen to the NH Veterans Home in Tilton, 13 miles. This year, he plans to retrace his steps on Saturday, July 22, from Boscawen to Tilton. The Home Base program at Mass General Hospital conducts a two-week intensive program for veterans that aims to mitigate the effects of PTSD for themselves and their families. The program has impacted many lives over the past 11 years. To learn more about Marsh's walk, visit runtohomebase.org/support/#MTAET. (Courtesy photo)
