LACONIA — Diana Jean Ashley, 66, passed away on June 24, 2026, at Granite VNA Hospice, Concord.
Diana was born on Jan. 25, 1960, in Amesbury, Massachusetts, and lived a life full of love and devotion to her family and friends.
Diana was a dedicated secretary in the legal industry and local school systems, where she inspired those around her with her work ethic and integrity. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on the lives she touched throughout her career.
Diana found joy in life’s simple pleasures and shared that enthusiasm with everyone around her. An avid pickleball player and dedicated bowler, she cherished the friendships and memories made through these activities. Her creative spirit shone through her love of scrapbooking, where she carefully preserved family moments and treasured milestones. Her many interests, combined with her warmth and generosity, left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Diana’s journey through life was met with many adventures; traveling to visit family and friends as well as enjoying the summers boating on the waters of the Lakes Region. In the end, she battled invasive lobular carcinoma, which she faced with courage and grace. Though she has left this world, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at Living Hope Lakeport, 50 Washington St., where family and friends will come together to honor and remember Diana.
