NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Parks Commission will be collaborating with the Conservation Commission and the Northfield Economic Development Corporation Beautification Group to host a town wide cleanup day on Saturday, May 20. The focus will be on parks, conservation areas and roadsides. This will also include tidying up your neighborhood.
The day will begin at the Park & Go Market on Park Street, at 8 a.m., where specific bags will be distributed and instructions on how to dispose of these bags will be provided. Only these bags will be collected and disposed of, no other bags will be accepted.
Let’s clean up Northfield, bring gloves, lots of water, and if needed, bug spray. Wear a bright colored shirt for cleaning up roadsides. This is for regular trash only, no large items (mattresses, tires, etc.)
