MEREDITH — The Loft at Hermit Woods presents the "Alex Minasian Trio" honoring the legends of jazz music on Thursday, Sept. 29. The trio honors the legends of jazz music, such as Charlie Parker and Thelonious Monk.
Pianist Alex Minasian has performed in most of the country’s most famous jazz rooms, including the Blue Note, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Apollo Theater. Alex served as the last pianist to iconic jazz singers Little Jimmy Scott and Mark Murphy. He currently serves as pianist for Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Little Anthony and the Imperials.
The show starts at 6 p.m. with Chris Mega, who will be warming up on the piano.
