TILTON — The Tilton Selectboard has announced that the Grinch will be traveling from Whoville, USA, to bring some Grinchmas cheer to Tilton.
Beginning on Monday, Dec. 12, to Thursday, Dec. 22, at noon, the Grinch will be slinking around on Main Street in Tilton. If you spot the Grinch, be sure to email the Grinchline at grinch@tiltonnh.org, and let us know the day, time, and location you saw the Grinch plus your name, email and phone number. Your information will be entered into a drawing for prizes.
On Friday, Dec. 16, the town will host the original movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” at the Winnisquam Regional High School. Doors open at 6 p.m., refreshments will be served and the Grinch will make a special appearance.
On Thursday, Dec. 22, the Tilton Selectboard will host an open house from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with hot cocoa and cookies. At approximately 5:45 p.m. they will draw names and announce the winners of “Spot the Grinch.” You must be online or in-person to collect your prize.
