GILFORD ― Ever looked at that funny looking building with all the books and wondered: What’s that all about?
During the entire month of September, the Gilford Public Library is celebrating "National Library Card Sign Up Month." If locals been putting off signing up for a library card, they can come in, or head online, to get a card and secure their ticket to the literary world. In addition, those that sign up or renew their expired card will earn a chance at something more. Kids and teens will get to spin a prize wheel for a little treat, and adults will get a raffle entry for a melange of autumn themed goodies, all sponsored by the Friends of the Gilford Public Library.
