LACONIA — Scout Troop 68 hosted its reunion meeting on Sept. 16. Scouts, scout leaders and families spanning more than 50 years of troop history came together to reconnect, trade stories and celebrate scouting in Laconia. 

The event, held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1670, on Court Street celebrated the troop's legacy of service, leadership and skills building for Laconia's young people.

Founded in 1938, Troop 68 is chartered through the Belknap County Sportsmen's Association. It is dedicated to helping youth learn life skills and make ethical choices over their lifetimes through outdoor adventure and adherence to the Scout Oath and Law.
