MEREDITH — A drawing to select winners of prizes in the raffle fundraiser sponsored by the Meredith Adaptive Paddling Launch Committee will take place Friday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m., in Community Park in Meredith.

Prizes in the raffle, which kicked off last month, include a 12’ Wilderness Systems kayak, paddle and life jacket; art prints by local artists including Marian Federspiel; gift certificates, wares, and cards from merchants on Main Street in Meredith; and gift certificates for expert-guided kayak tours of northern Lake Winnipesaukee.

A table displaying the kayak and gift baskets will be located in Community Park starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Raffle tickets for all prizes will be on sale there until the 6 p.m. drawing. Ticket holders will not have to be present at the drawing to win.

All raffle proceeds will benefit the Adaptive Paddling Launch planned for installation at Leavitt Park in Meredith in spring 2025. To date, the Meredith Adaptive Paddling Launch fundraising committee has raised more than 50% of its goal of approximately $58,000.
