MOULTONBOROUGH ― The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will host a public informational meeting to discuss improvements at the Glidden Road intersection.
Improvements include the proposal of reallocating the existing two 12-foot lanes and eight-foot shoulder pavement typical sections to establish two 12-foot travel lanes, a 12-foot two-way left turn lane, and four-foot to five-foot shoulders. The Glidden Road intersection safety improvements propose widening Route 25 to introduce a left turn lane. The proposed Lake Shore Drive (west) intersection geometry improves safety and promotes access management. Finally, the proposed Lake Shore Drive (east) intersection widens Route 25 to introduce a left turn lane.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 6 p.m. at the Moultonborough Fire Rescue Central Station, at 1035 Whittier Hwy. The public is encouraged to attend and participate.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals and protect and enhance the environment.
