LACONIA — Residents and visitors alike are invited to experience the beauty, creativity, and horticultural inspiration that flourish throughout New Hampshire’s Lakes and Mountain Regions during the Opechee Garden Club’s Biennial Garden Tour on Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Set against the backdrop of one of New England’s most scenic areas, this highly anticipated event offers a rare opportunity to visit a collection of exceptional private gardens that showcase the artistry and dedication of local gardeners and garden club members. Tour participants will enjoy a variety of landscapes, from colorful perennial displays and serene plantings to innovative garden designs that reflect the character and natural beauty of the Lakes and Mountain Regions.
Since 1939 the Opechee Garden Club has been committed to promoting gardening, conservation, civic beautification, educational opportunities and environmental stewardship throughout the greater Laconia and Gilford areas. The club was established exclusively for charitable purposes, accomplished through the dedication community volunteers and members.
The biennial Garden Tour returned in 2026 — better than ever. The tour serves as both a celebration of our mission and an opportunity for the community to gather once again, learn, and be inspired. The day of the tour, grand prize and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Grand prizes raffle donations were contributed by local businesses and individuals, with a notable grand prize value up to $600 by Laconia Country Club.
