Nature For Everyone Barn Bash raises over $165K for Science Center

HOLDERNESS — Squam Lakes Natural Science Center’s 60th anniversary celebration reached a major milestone with the success of its Nature for Everyone Barn Bash, a sold-out fundraising event that raised more than $165,000 to support the Science Center’s education programs and outdoor nature-based experiences on July 16.

Held at Willoughby Ridge Barn, the event brought together supporters, community members, and friends of the Science Center to celebrate 60 years of connecting people with New Hampshire’s natural world. Guests enjoyed up-close animal interactions, special programming, and a Boat Captains’ Auction, with proceeds directly supporting the Science Center’s mission.

The success of the Barn Bash reflects the strong community support behind the Science Center as it celebrates six decades of environmental education and conservation. Meredith Village Savings Bank served as the major sponsor, providing important support for the event and the Science Center’s mission.

The Nature for Everyone Barn Bash was part of the Science Center’s yearlong 60th anniversary celebration. Funds raised will help the Science Center continue providing accessible, outdoor nature-based education and experiences that inspire joy, connection, and wonder for years to come.
