MEREDITH — The Meredith Public Library is pleased to announce the sale of limited-edition “America 250” souvenir T-shirts, celebrating both the nation’s semiquincentennial and the Meredith community.

Featuring patriotic designs that incorporate Meredith into the “America 250” theme, these shirts are a way to mark this historic milestone.

T-shirts are available for $25 each, with all proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Meredith Library, whose support helps fund programs, resources, and special initiatives throughout the year. Shirts are available in sizes small through extra large and come exclusively in blue.

These commemorative shirts were generously provided by Meredith’s America 250 Parade Committee, helping to unify the community’s celebration efforts. As a complementary initiative, the Meredith Fire Department is also offering America 250 T-shirts in gray, with proceeds supporting the creation of a 9/11 Memorial.

Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to wear their shirts to Meredith's July 4 Parade, which will kick off at 10 a.m. For full parade details, visit meredith250parade.com.

While visiting the library to purchase a shirt, patrons are also encouraged to pick up a brochure highlighting 14 America 250–related events being hosted by the Meredith Public Library and the Meredith Historical Society. These programs are designed to engage the community in reflection, learning, and celebration throughout the anniversary year.

Stop by the Meredith Public Library to purchase your shirt, show your community pride, and take part in this once-in-a-generation celebration.
