LACONIA — Love INC of the Lakes Region will host the 8th Annual Christmas Blessing Project on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2-5 p.m. at the Living Hope of Lakeport Church Sanctuary in Laconia.
This initiative serves families in Center Harbor, Moultonborough, Meredith, Laconia, Gilford, and Belmont who are facing financial hardship and seeking support to provide Christmas gifts for their children.
Enjoy festive Christmas music and a fun skit portraying the Christmas story. Parents will receive gift bags with all the materials needed to wrap presents and children can craft handmade hats and gifts for their loved ones. Professional family portraits will be available at no cost.
For a contribution, parents can multiply their funds for Christmas presents and schedule an appointment with a personal shopping assistant for Friday, Dec. 12, or Saturday, Dec. 13.
This year will include a new Transformational Ministry Program, providing support in life coaching, budgeting, and mental health. Last year, partner church volunteers served more than 40 families and more than 140 children, sharing God’s special love.
