LACONIA — The Lakeport Opera House will host two tribute acts in mid-June.
On Thursday, June 13, at 2 p.m. Sharon Owens will perform her tribute to Barbra Streisand in her show “An Enchanted Afternoon with Barbra.” The show is an intimate tribute to the legendary performer. Owens strives to recreate Streisand’s iconic voice, song and personality. Throughout the show Owns takes her audience on a journey through the Streisand years – ‘60s Broadway, ‘70s Disco, and ‘80s films.
Owens will return to the Opera House on Saturday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the powerful duo Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga. She will be joined by Steve Leeds as Bennett. The tribute show, Cheek to Cheek, is an evening of great American jazz.
