LACONIA ― Parents, the countdown is on. Registration for the 2026 Laconia Little League season closes on April 1. If your child wants to play this spring, now is the time to lock in their spot.
Laconia Little League offers baseball for children ages 4 to 12 in a fun, supportive, and team-focused environment. Each spring, players from across the Lakes Region take the field to learn the game, build confidence, make new friends, and create lasting memories.
Families with children interested in the Majors and Minors divisions are especially encouraged to register as soon as possible. Player evaluations for those divisions are scheduled for Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, and signing up before those dates helps ensure players are included in the process as teams are formed for the season. Evaluations for the Minors Division will be at 11:30 a.m. both days, while Majors Division evaluations will be 12:30 p.m. both days.
“This isn’t just about baseball. It’s about teamwork, confidence, and being part of something bigger,” said Melissa Dutile, president of Laconia Little League. “We don’t want anyone missing out.”
Final registration numbers help the league organize teams, prepare coaches, coordinate schedules, and order uniforms in time for the season. With Opening Day scheduled for Saturday, April 18, league officials are asking families not to wait until the last minute. The league will also host a Used Equipment Drive on Opening Day, giving families an opportunity to donate or pick up gently used baseball gear as the season begins.
Signing up is simple and only takes a few minutes. No prior baseball experience is required for players, and new families are encouraged to join. Parents can register online at laconiall.org before the April 1 deadline.
Established in 1952, Laconia Little League is preparing to celebrate its 74th season this spring. A longtime cornerstone of the community, the league has introduced generations of children to the game of baseball in a fun, structured, and encouraging environment. Based at Opechee Park in Laconia, the league serves players ages 4 to 12 across multiple divisions designed for all experience levels.
