CENTER HARBOR — Shelves at the James E. Nichols Memorial Library are nearly collapsing under the weight of too many great books. To lessen the load and make room for new releases, the library will hold a Summer Clearance Book Sale on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., on the library lawn. All books must go.
Gently worn books, audiobooks and DVDs will be offered free; donations are appreciated. These materials are perfect for replenishing your seasonal camp or vacation home with enjoyable reading.
Or start your holiday gift shopping early simply by perusing the wide variety of fiction and nonfiction books and popular DVDs available. All are in excellent, almost-new condition.Â
All donations from the book sale will be used to purchase new books and other materials for the Nichols Library collection.
In the event of rain, the book sale will be held inside the library. The James E. Nichols Memorial Library is located at 35 Plymouth St. For more information, call the library at 603-253-6950.
