ASHLAND — The Ashland & Holderness Got Lunch ladies met with Terry Comeau, formerly of Bob's Shurfine, to thank her for being so good to Got Lunch for the past 10 years; selling them food at cost and helping the program in so many ways.
This summer the group has packed nutritious lunches every Monday during school vacation for 37 children and will pack the last lunches on Monday, Aug. 23 before the beginning of the school year. The program has also given Shurfine food vouchers during February school vacation. Due to a space problem at St. Mark's church, the American Legion in Ashland has kindly allowed the program to store food and pack lunches at their Legion Hall.
