GILFORD — For one more week, until the end of March, the Gilford Library is hosting a photography exhibit from local artist Chris Agurkis that is a must-see.
Agurkis explains: I have been into photography for many years and I'm very passionate about nature and wildlife photography. I'm the type of person that will always take the long way to get somewhere just to up the odds for seeing and photographing something good. Let's just say I'm late to work sometimes too. I also spend many nights all summer long photographing the stars along with our Milky Way galaxy. You can also find me with my close up macro lens photographing the most interesting bugs and spiders I can find in the flower gardens. For me there is nothing better than heading into the woods early in the morning and seeing everything come alive and if I'm lucky I will see something amazing. With all that being said photography has always been a big part of my life and I have met some of my best friends because of it.
Agurkis’s particular collection at the library contains wildlife and landscape images all from New England. Be sure to check out the exhibit when you visit the library soon.
