FRANKLIN — Franklin Savings Bank recently granted $8,000 to Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire to support the set-up costs for a new location in Franklin. This new office will enable the organization to extend its support to survivors of domestic and sexual violence to a wider audience.

“The Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire, soon to be Thrive Survivor Support Center, is so grateful for the support of Franklin Savings Bank. This support will provide critical funding for our new office location in Franklin,“ said Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire Executive Director Jessica Vaughn-Martin. “With their support, we will be more accessible to survivors in the Franklin community, ensuring increased levels of safety and support without traveling to Concord. We look forward to building our new home in Franklin and creating partnerships throughout the community.”

The Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire has been instrumental in making an impact of offered services to survivors of violence in the greater Franklin area. They aim to create a safer community where survivors have immediate access to the help necessary to rebuild their lives. The Franklin office will offer services including crisis intervention, accompaniment, legal advocacy, and prevention education in the Franklin schools. They plan to have the Franklin office fully up and running by the end of 2024.
