DEDHAM, Mass. — Fire fighters throughout New England received a hearty surprise at lunchtime recently, courtesy of D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, which delivered almost 300 feet of sandwiches to over 40 fire stations, including a local station in Laconia.
The 29-inch Great Divide, normally found on the D’Angelo catering menu, is a sandwich of epic proportions, easily feeding an entire family or hungry sports team. Each D’Angelo store delivered nearly seven feet of this sandwich to local fire stations. The delivery thanked firefighters for their constant hard work and service to their communities.
The fire station giveaway was the second, part of the company’s new 29-inch Great Divide Giveaway. On the 29th day of each month, every company D’Angelo location will donate 29-inch Great Divide sandwiches to nonprofit organizations such as schools, fire and police departments. The first giveaway provided lunch to teachers.
D’Angelo will continue this program throughout the year, aiming to reach a variety of public servants across every town it serves. For more information, visit dangelos.com.
