LACONIA ― A Climate Café is a welcoming, informal community space for open-ended conversation about the environment, and is locally focused, non-partisan, and requires no membership or commitment.
The first Climate Café in New Hampshire will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Commune-a-Tea, 653 Main Street, Laconia. Feel free to drop in and join the conversation.
In addition to the camaraderie, there will be a presentation by the Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center about its forest management project.
Bring concerns, suggest topics for future cafés, and enjoy the delicious beverages and food available on the Commune-a-Tea menu. Caution: friendships may happen.
