WOLFEBORO — After a summer hiatus, Clearlakes Chorale is beginning its fall season — and new singers are welcome to join. The season culminates in Gloria, two concerts featuring Vivaldi’s Gloria and much-loved Christmas carols on Dec. 7 and 8.
Anyone interested in singing with the Chorale can attend the first rehearsal on Thursday, Sept. 12, in the sanctuary of Wolfeboro’s First Congregational Church at 115 S. Main St. to get a feel for the music and the ensemble. Sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses are all welcomed, but the tenor section is especially in need of some additional voices. Registration will start at 6:30 p.m., and rehearsal runs 7-9 p.m.
Clearlakes Chorale is a no-audition community choir that aims to provide memorable musical experiences for the Lakes Region community, led by a board of trustees and under the direction of noted composer and conductor Andy Campbell. Accompanied by musician and music educator Julie Carbone, the group rehearses weekly on Thursday nights at The First Congregational Church.
