LACONIA — Belknap Mill has announced a new lineup of spring 2026 classes featuring hands-on workshops in edible gardening and traditional craft. The programs, presented in collaboration with The Edible Garden Coach and the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, will take place this spring at the Mill.
The gardening series led by The Edible Garden Coach includes:
- Indoor Growing with Microgreens, where participants will learn to grow microgreens indoors and plant trays to take home;
- Lean Into Edible Gardening, focused on garden design principles, companion planting, and seasonal growing strategies;
- Start Your Own Edible Garden Seedlings Workshop, covering seed-starting fundamentals; and
- Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme Herb Planting Workshop, where participants will plant and take home a small culinary herb garden.
In partnership with the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, Belknap Mill will also offer:
- Feather a Nest: Air Dry Clay Workshop, introducing hand-building techniques using air-dry clay;
- Needle Felted Bluebird Workshop, exploring basic felting techniques; and
- Screen Printing Workshop, covering screen printing fundamentals with participants creating original printed designs on fabric and paper.
