MEREDITH — Today more and more people are wanting to buy organic and local foods, and while placing online orders is easier than ever before, we’re aware that three pick-up locations just may not be enough for everyone to enjoy fresh, farm quality foods on their table. The Belknap Foodshed has announced a fourth pick-up location in Tilton.

In addition to curbside pick-up in Meredith, Laconia, and Loudon, beginning on March 6 customers can start placing online orders for their first curbside pick-up at the Tilton senior center. The pick-up will begin Friday, March 12, from 4:30-5 p.m.

It is a way for everyone to enjoy the convenience of online orders and contactless, curbside pick-up and enjoy great, fresh food. Safe, fresh and easy.

People in the Lakes Region have asked for an easier, more accessible way to access clean and local food, and launching ‘Shop Our Local Table’ is the first step of many to come toward providing greater access to local food in the Lakes Region. Orders can be placed every Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. until Wednesday at noon and are ready for curb-side pick-up based on your selected location: Meredith on Fridays from 4-5:30 (Genuine Local, 5 Winona Road); Laconia on Fridays from 4:30-5:30 (parking lot on Pleasant Street behind Wayfarer Coffee Roasters); or Loudon on Saturdays from 10-4 (farm store at Purely Wholesome Farm, 557 Lower Ridge Rd, Loudon).
