RUMNEY — The Grafton County Pemi-Baker Centennial Lions Club is beginning their membership drive. The club’s service area is Plymouth, Rumney, Wentworth, Warren, and Groton (but no matter where you are, there is a Lions Club near you).
Lions Clubs International is the largest service organization in the world, with 1.35 million members in 46,000 clubs in 209 countries and geographic areas in the world.
The Lions Club is building their membership with good-hearted people who want to actively help their communities. A full 100 percent of the money raised from the community goes back to the community.
Right now, initiation fees have been waived, and dues are only $35 until June.
If this something that appeals to you? Contact Membership Chair Dave Berman at either 603-786-9086 or email to bermbits@gmail.com or any area Lion.
