ALTON— The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will host a public informational meeting to discuss potential improvements along Route 11 from Scenic Drive in Gilford to Midge Cove Road in Alton.

The meeting will be held at the Alton Bay Community Center, 58 Mount Major Hwy, Route 11, Alton, on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, at 6:30 pm. The public is encouraged to attend and participate.

A corridor study was completed to identify potential safety and structural solutions aimed at addressing poor pavement condition, speed management, intersection safety, and pedestrian safety. This public meeting will present the findings from the corridor study and provide an opportunity for public input.

NHDOT programs and services will be administered in accordance with the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all applicable regulations to ensure nondiscrimination.

Notification of the need for assistance must be made at least seven business days prior to this meeting/hearing.
