BRISTOL — For almost 70 years, Santa and his elves have taken over the Tapply-Thompson Community Center every December as they sweep in and setup a village scene, magically transforming the building into a winter wonderland.

This year’s Santa’s Village will be held on Friday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 10, from 2 to 5 p.m. The suggested admission is a canned food donation for Bristol Community Services.

Visit with Mrs. Claus at the North Pole, and tell Santa any gift wishes while being escorted by elves around the holiday maze.

The Polar Express train exhibit will be up and running with a stop at Santa’s Village Post Office, where children can mail their Christmas list straight to the Clauses. Visit the workshop where wooden toys are made or see Mrs. Santa’s kitchen for a complimentary cookie. On the lower level, check out the craft fair with face painting and a perfect chance to finish your holiday shopping.
