MEREDITH ― Inter-Lakes Middle High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter attended the 53rd annual State Leadership Conference in Manchester recently.
Ten students qualified for the national competition in San Antonio this summer including Hayden Brunell, Chris Boksanske, and Tyler Coleman, all three‑time national qualifiers and 2026 Champions in Financial Statement Analysis; Aiden Price, a two‑time national qualifier and 2026 Champion in Securities and Investments; Thea Wright, a two‑time national qualifier and 2026 Champion in Personal Financial Management; Caleb Theriault, who received Champion in Programming and Coding; Danielle Cornelissen, Leah Meeken, and Maya LaBrecque, who earned third place in Sales Presentation; and Caleb Spears, who received fourth place in Impromptu Speaking.
Thirty-two students represented ILMHS, competing across 17 different event categories and showcasing their talents on a statewide stage.
Attendees participated in a variety of workshops covering topics such as preparing for college admissions, strengthening leadership skills, and understanding the growing impact of AI on future careers.
As a chapter, ILMHS earned the “Champion Chapter ― Gold” recognition from the national FBLA office for the 2025-26 school year. The Gold level is the highest tier of this national honor, awarded to chapters via a point system for a combination of service projects, professional development, and member engagement activities.
