CONCORD — NH LAKES has hired Brea Arvidson as director of programs. A New Hampshire resident who grew up in Harrisville surrounded by lakes and ponds, she has a deep appreciation for the essential role lakes play in the Granite State.
As an accomplished aquatic biologist, Arvidson has nearly a decade of experience specializing in water resource monitoring and management in the Northeast. She actively contributes to the scientific community and engages with local partners as co-chair of the Communication and Development Committees with the North American Lake Management Society and as a plant conservation volunteer with Native Plant Trust.
The director of programs leads the organization’s conservation outreach programs and plays a collaborative role in implementing the organization’s public policy and advocacy program.
