CONCORD — All New Hampshire Department of Safety Division of Motor Vehicles employees will participate in a comprehensive training day focused on customer service, professional development, and emergency preparedness on Columbus Day.
To provide this agency-wide training, all DMV locations throughout the state will be closed on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 14.
“This essential training day will enhance DMV employees' skills in delivering the top-notch customer service we aim for daily, while also supporting their professional growth and readiness for emergencies,” said New Hampshire Department of Safety Division of Motor Vehicles Director John C. Marasco.
Historical data shows the volume of customer transactions is lower than average on Columbus Day, which is not a state-observed holiday.
