TILTON — Mi-Box of Central New Hampshire recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of its new Tilton headquarters.

Located at 405 Laconia Road, the new facility will provide new company office space as well as provide a storage location for customers who would rather have their boxes stored rather than keeping them at their home or business.

Visitors were treated to free ice cream and cake provided by Ben and Jerry’s of Meredith and Ooo La La Creative Cakes of Laconia. There also was a free drawing for four tickets to the Boston Bruins vs. Edmonton Oilers NHL hockey game, scheduled for Oct. 11. Winners were Tilton Police Chief Robert Cormier and Chad Boucher, owner of Boucher’s Landscaping.

Wes Kogelman, owner and general manager of Mi-Box of Central New Hampshire, said, “Our new facility was necessary due to our growth, but we also wanted to say thank-you to our customers that have supported us over the past 18 months. We have over 200 boxes in use with another 300 on the way to service the demand for our product, so we are very excited about the response from the community.”

Mi-Box of Central New Hampshire offers portable self-storage units that can be delivered to home or business locations through a level lift system that allows for ground-level loading without the need for ramps or steps. Mi-Box system features weather-resistant containers with form-fitted aluminum roofs, Dura-Plate walls that are mold and mildew resistant, and galvanized I-Beam floor construction so water won’t come up through the floor.

Mi-Box Moving & Mobile Storage delivers the storage units anywhere in Central, Western and Northern New Hampshire. Customers can take all the time they need to load anything to move or store and, once it is filled, Mi-Box will pick it up and deliver it to the new home in Central New Hampshire or store it at its self-storage location.
