Bryant Paving steps forward to help local veterans-support group

MEREDITH -- Bryant Paving, the Meredith-based paving company, has made a generous donation to The Patriot Resilient Leader Institute’s Camp Resilience.

CEO and owner Leslie Bryant read an article about the work of Camp Resilience in helping New England veterans cope with PTSD and other combat-related injuries both visible and invisible. She wanted to help and had the company’s Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Ashley Alberts contact the organization for donation details.

This resulted in the recent presentation of a check which had enabled Camp Resilience to publish an Honors Booklet listing veterans’ names and branches of service as submitted by the veterans’ families and friends.

“Speaking for all Bryant Paving employees, we just wanted to show our appreciation, in a tangible way, for what members of the military have done for our country” said Bryant. “And this donation to a local non-profit doing outstanding work in support of veterans was our way of showing that appreciation” she added.

“Camp Resilience serves veterans at a grass-roots level,” said PRLI President Kurt Webber, “and it's donations such as this from civic-minded companies such as Bryant Paving that help make our work possible. We’re indebted to Leslie and her team for their support.”

More information about the work of Camp Resilience can be found at www.prli.us.
