LACONIA — Bank of New Hampshire awarded a $2,500 matching grant to NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire through the Grants for New England Partnerships program. Combined with a donation from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, the organization received $5,000 in total.

The Grants for New England Partnerships program, established by FHLBank Boston, recognizes collaborations between member institutions and community-based nonprofit organizations that strengthen local communities. BNH selected NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire for this grant in recognition of its important work to improve financial stability for individuals and families in southern New Hampshire.

“We are proud to provide NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire with this grant,” said Bambi Lane, assistant vice president commercial banker for Bank of New Hampshire. “We are dedicated to partnerships that make a tangible difference, and this collaboration is a powerful example of what can be achieved when community organizations and community banks work together.”

“This grant represents more than financial support, it is an investment in the long-term well-being of the communities we proudly serve,” said NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire Executive Director Robert Tourigny. “Together, we are opening doors for individuals and families to achieve stability and opportunity.”
