ROCHESTER — Mortgage Loan Officer with Meredith Village Savings Bank Nicole Ames graduated from the 2024-25 New Hampshire Housing Homeownership Fellows program.

Just 11 New Hampshire homebuying professionals were chosen this year to participate in the program, which offers housing industry professionals an interactive and educational opportunity to explore the issues and challenges of the mortgage finance system. Fellows participate in six housing-focused workshops covering factors and issues at a local and national level, and delve into the many programs available through New Hampshire Housing to support residents.

“Nicole has a genuine passion for assisting local individuals and families in realizing their dreams of owning a home. Over the past year, she's put in a lot of effort to grow her knowledge of residential lending and affordable housing through this fantastic program,” said Senior Vice President & Residential Lending Officer Jaime Frederes. “Her fellowship experience will provide homebuyers with elevated expertise as they journey through the home buying process.”

Ames joined MVSB in 2022 and is based out of the bank’s Rochester office at 21 Farmington Road (Route 11).

In addition to her professional achievements, she enjoys spending time outdoors and giving back to her community. She volunteers her time with Vouchers for Veterans, a local nonprofit that provides grocery vouchers to local veterans in Maine and NH to be used to purchase food goods at local farmers markets. She also volunteers at the local soup kitchen regularly in Rochester, and is a member of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce.
