HOLDERNESS — Want a fun and relaxing evening to celebrate Earth Day? Join the Squam Lakes Association from 8 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, for a bonfire with stargazing and s’mores. This casual event will focus on appreciation for Earth and the natural world by sharing personal experiences. The group will also be viewing the Lyrids meteor shower, a spring stargazing spectacle with upward of 15-20 comets an hour. To finish off the evening, the group will be making s’mores to be served with hot chocolate.Â
For more information or to sign up for this Adventure Ecology program, visit squamlakes.org or contact the SLA directly at 603-968-7336.
This event is free to the public. Registration is required.
