LACONIA — As the school year draws to a close, the Lakes Region Board of REALTORS awarded 24 college scholarships to deserving high school seniors throughout the region.
These recipients have not only excelled academically, but have demonstrated a commitment to their school, peers, and local community. Whether through volunteer work, leadership in school activities, or overcoming personal challenges, these students have inspired board members.
This scholarship is a recognition of hard work, dedication, resilience, and potential. It’s a way for the community to invest in the future by standing behind a student who has shown what it means to lead, persevere, and give back.
The Scholarship Committee is currently working hard on this year’s 36th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, which will be held at Lochmere Country Club on Wednesday, Aug. 20. All the proceeds raised from the tournament goes toward scholarships.
