Back at the very beginning of January, I made a few predictions about 2023. Chuck McGee felt that my “Nostradamus-like predictions” were just wishful thinking, and that I would admit my mistake next year.
I'll gladly do that, if appropriate. In the meantime, though, I can't help notice that the price of heating oil is now down almost a dollar a gallon from last fall, there are several stations nearby offering regular gas for a few cents over $3 (even $2.99!), inflation is lower, the federal deficit is down over $1 trillion, wholesale price increases are slowing and the stock market is only 200 points below its all-time high. Guess we better keep an eye on this unfolding “economic disaster.”
Also keep an eye out for Hunter Biden's laptop — last I heard it contained all of Hillary's missing emails.
By the way, kudos to Mary Renzi, who had me in stitches referring to the Fox TV network as “news.” LOL!
