To The Daily Sun,
The game "Dungeons and Dragons" receives not nearly enough attention. It has been proven to be one of the best ways for people to train their brain, providing a fun and customizable experience that can improve their day-to-day lives. The game as a whole should receive a lot more attention, and possibly be incorporated into our daily lives.
Studies show that people who play Dungeons and Dragons not only do better in school, but their skills carry on to their jobs, statistically performing better than people who don’t play. In a Texan School, there was a particular group of students with test results that far exceeded that of their peers. Upon further inspection, it was revealed that each of the students was a part of the school’s DnD club. Essentially, the game built valuable skills that helped train their brains, therefore aiding them on the test.
Past their developmental years, adults who play the game are more productive than adults who haven’t. In addition, they also show to have higher levels of confidence, and enhanced decision-making skills. Furthermore, playing with coworkers helped strengthen their bond, creating a cooperative atmosphere that teaches them how to work as a team. Skills like these can help employees with their daily jobs, even more so when developed from childhood. Not only is it a great game to play with coworkers, but playing with your family can easily offer the same benefits.
The game that can train children to play hard, and adults to work hard. Regardless of how much time you spend nitpicking over the details, the game can be enjoyed by anyone willing to pick up their pencils.
