WARREN — Christine Michele Giuda, 77, passed away at Rose Meadow Acres in New Boston, on Oct. 26, 2025, after a long period of declining health.
She was born in Eugene, Oregon, on June 2, 1948, the daughter of John Albin and Patricia (Cabe) Revell.
She became a registered nurse, studying at Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Eugene, and became a Navy nurse, caring for wounded Vietnam veterans at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Alameda, California, while on active duty. She served her Reserve commitment at Naval Hospital Whidbey Island, Washington, achieving the rank of lieutenant commander. It was there that she met the love of her life, Robert, and they were married on June 27, 1981, in Eugene.
After completing her active duty commitment, Christine was employed at Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Her love of children was a force in her life. She was the primary teacher of their three children, homeschooling them all the way through high school. She organized bike-a-thons locally for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising funds to provide for families with children suffering from cancer, and served on the board of directors of Haven Pregnancy Services in Plymouth.
She was an exceptional crafter and a demonstrator for Stampin’ Up, making cards for all occasions, wedding invitations, dolls, floral arrangements, and many other items reflecting her love of God, family and nation.
Christine is survived by her husband, former New Hampshire state Sen. Robert Giuda of Warren; her children, Joseph (Naomi) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Lauren (George) of Nampa, Idaho, and Stephanie and grandsons Hunter and Braden of Eugene, Oregon; and seven younger siblings: Robert Revell, Mark Revell, Dan Revell, John Revell, Mary Piazza, Anne Schilling and Laurie Bailey, all residing in Oregon.
Calling hours will be held at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 11 Hill Ave., Ashland, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Plymouth, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1. A Mass will also be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Eugene, Oregon, where she will be interred.
