GILFORD — A pedestrian was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Sargents Place last week.

According to Deputy Chief Dustin Parent, at 7:02 a.m. on Oct. 23, a man was walking with a shopping cart on the side of the access road off Lake Shore Road. The pedestrian allegedly strayed into the roadway and a vehicle clipped the pedestrian at low speed. He was taken to Concord Hospital-Laconia to be treated.

No charges were filed in the incident.
