The headline stating that Dawn Johnson would always be available to hear concerns if elected is nothing short of a joke. Dawn Johnson has proven time and time again that she does not prioritize or listen to the concerns of the community she is supposed to serve.

When Dawn Johnson posted antisemitic content online, she demonstrated a blatant disregard for the values of inclusivity and respect that are essential in any elected official. The community rightfully responded by calling for her resignation from both her positions as a state representative and school board member. However, she chose to ignore these concerns and remain in her roles, showing a clear lack of accountability and integrity.

Additionally, Johnson's actions regarding Gunstock Mountain further highlight her lack of consideration for community input. By going against the interests of the local residents and the popular opinion, she has shown a consistent pattern of disregarding the voices of those she is meant to represent.

It is truly ironic that Richard Littlefield continues to stand by Johnson and refuses to acknowledge her wrongdoing. By maintaining his alliance with her, he is signaling his willingness to overlook her harmful behavior and put his own interests above those of the community.

Laconia deserves better than this. It is time for the residents of Laconia to come together and demand leadership that truly listens to their concerns and acts in their best interests.
