Will Los Angeles recover? That's the "trillion dollar" question. An even better one. Should it? California's lovely. Behind that beauty lies a dark truth. It's an incredibly dangerous, destructive and deadly place to live.

The 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire offers a looking glass. California's population then 2 million. Population today 40 million. Could destruction and death be 20-fold? Possibly. If so, well more than 500,000 homes and buildings could be destroyed, and more than 60,000 die within minutes. The 12,000 homes that went up last week. They're just the tip of the iceberg of the danger California really represents.

Should taxpayers in New Hampshire and other states be burdened to pay $1 for climate disasters in California? Joe Biden thinks so. He offered a $15 billion loan guarantee (bribe) with the intent to buy California's electoral vote jackpot next election. It offers access to cheap money putting the U.S. government on the hook for any default. The largest loan like it in history. Democrats greased the road to Trump's presidency with decades of blatantly partisan, slime ball activity exactly like this.

California politicians have refused for decades to charge California residents utility rates and taxes high enough to pay for the constant and costly fire prevention work and other maintenance required to live in such a very dangerous place. Water shortages constant, wildfires frequent, landslides common all while the San Andreas fault runs smack dab through it all. A fault line with warnings from seismologists that an 8.0 magnitude quake 1906 style is long overdue.

Let's ensure California's willingness to accept super high economic risks is not paid for by anyone but them. Democrats will never stop doing all possible to "shovel" truckloads of money to California because without its 54 electoral votes they won't win even win dog catcher.
