Sue Bucker: Check out candidates before you vote for any of them

To The Daily Sun,

I’d like to thank President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and all the wonderful Democrat Congress members that passed that wonderful “Inflation Reduction Act.” Why am I thanking them you ask? Oh, wait, did I say thank you? I meant darn you. In the past month my electric bill has increased by $40, my heating oil budget has gone from $20 per month to $177 per month, my lot fee has gone up $10 per month, my auto insurance has gone up $20 per month (without ever having an accident or ticket), my homeowners insurance has gone up, my cell phone has gone up, my cable has gone up, and not to mention my food costs have continued to go up. I’ve had to cancel my dental insurance because I couldn’t afford it. I’m a widowed senior citizen on a very fixed income. I’m sure I’m just one of many in this position. So, all of you Democrat people who think this is a good bill for all of us, wake up. You’re being made fools of. Please remember what these people are doing to our country the next time you go to vote. Do the right thing. Don’t listen to the lies, check out the candidates before you vote for any of them.
