Steve Earle: So many have been deluded by the mainstream media

Well, the complaint letters targeting the president just keep coming. The best response that has come across my desk lately was this. Jim Short says, "Liberals wanna keep complaining that the country wasn't prepared, well maybe if you hadn't spent the last three years on worthless investigations, impeachment hearings, and forcing the president to defend himself against a brand new manufactured allegation every single day and trying to find a way to remove a president that the people elected then we would be prepared."

Imagine what you could have accomplished if you had done your damn job instead of acting like spoiled children. Imagine how strong and prepared our country would be if you had worked with this president all along. Stop complaining because we don't blame Trump, we blame you, Trump did his job and he did it well, you failed not him. Americans sure could use those hundreds of millions of dollars right about now that you wasted on all those investigations and impeachment. Trump 2020.

Brings me to a couple letters here lately. One writer stated Trump had made "huge mistakes" the last four months but never said what these mistakes were supposed to have been. He just went off on the usual Trump hating, blame the president for every unsupported and distorted allegation the left makes up. Another accuses him of being, or wants to be, a dictator with again not sighting a single illegal dictatorial act by the president. This goes on constantly by the left. Outraged by made up nonexistent crimes and unfounded accusations. So where is any proof of wrong-doing because all I ever hear is narratives and false accusations?

After more then three years many are still enraged because Hillary didn't win as the mainstream insisted she would. Over and over they built the inevitability scenario until so many just accepted it as an accomplished fact. But it wasn't, so who do they blame? The president and his supporters. Is that logical? It was the mainstream media that deluded them and has continued to do so to this day. Some will never get over it I guess and continue to buy into the false narratives no mater how much factual information is on hand. Go figure!
