To The Daily Sun,

I am a 28-year-old honorably discharged veteran who is mentally handicapped and a drug addict. Currently, I'm being charged with several severe drug offenses. Last year, I received $25,000 from the government. I invested in a business, bought a couple of cars, helped a few people, but mostly I used.

Because I did what any addict would do in my situation, the prosecution wants to make an example of me. I feel that the prosecution is one-sided in dealing with me. I've asked for help, but they keep denying me.

There is nothing that would make me happier than to be home with my fiancee, working and making a good environment to raise children, and to be free. I know that, for this to happen, I need to do battle with the many demons that try to bring me down.

Is there any help for me?
