Sean and Jackie Fountain: Don't Mass up NH under Joyce Craig as governor

Kelly Ayotte says that New Hampshire is “one election away from becoming Massachusetts.” She's not kidding. Just look at who Joyce Craig is campaigning with: Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey herself. From the company she keeps, it's clear Craig would certainly turn New Hampshire into Massachusetts North.

Massachusetts ranks in the bottom half of states for business, this year coming in at 34, and New Hampshire ranked as the 6th best state for business — well ahead of every other New England state. New Hampshire's top-tier rankings under Gov. Chris Sununu include having one of the lowest tax burdens and the best return on investment for taxpayers. We're the best state for kids, the safest state, and the list goes on. Kelly wants to keep New Hampshire on the Sununu path.

The voters of New Hampshire have an opportunity to ensure their state remains a bastion of success in an otherwise high-taxed, over-regulated, anti-business region. Under Maura Healey, Massachusetts is taxing its way out of prosperity. Don’t let Joyce Craig do the same to New Hampshire. Continue to show us how to govern the right way.
