Laconia, like so many intricate communities, is a border city and our safety depends on well run and operated borders.

Our safety depends on commonsense cooperation between state and local safety partners as well as the federal government.

When was the last time we heard Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, Rep. Chris Pappas, Sen. Maggie Hassan, and Rep. Maggie Goodlander talk about real commonsense cooperation with the federal government or this administration as it pertains to immigration? They don't. It's not a party ideal.

No matter what the differences are between us on the issue, one thing stays the same: Cooperation is Laconia's best bet to stay safe.

Congressional District 1 candidate Hollie Noveletsky is making cooperation with law enforcement a top priority in her campaign. This is especially good for the City of Laconia and Belknap County.
