The lugubrious brooding conveyed by Robert Reich in his weekly diatribe, gives credence to the affliction of TDS, the proverbial Trump Derangement Syndrome. Since October 2023, Reich's proclivity to interject Donald Trump into every article is tantamount to a petulant child ranting his rhetoric. A recent title was "Welcome to (gulp) 2024," the Dec. 27 was "A holiday question: How old is too old?" Dec. 20, "What's about Trump's dementia?" Reich is so petrified of Donald Trump winning, he could be going through the five stages of grief. As a professor in a major university, he seems to exhibit a small-minded, myopic view of reality by juxtaposing what is Joe Biden's reality to his pernicious views of Donald Trump. I actually pity him.Â
