Mike Bordes: My top priority in Concord will be to protect the Constitution

I am proud to officially announce that I am running for state representative of the 3rd District of Belknap County, which represents Laconia under the Republican ticket. It will be a true honor to represent Laconia and all the residents within regardless of political affiliation race, creed, or sexual orientation after all we are all Americans and all citizens of this great city. Public service is a calling and I am dedicated to making our state and city a place that provides opportunities for everyone. One that provides the necessary services to our youth, seniors and veterans.

Throughout the campaign, I will work hard to earn your vote, listening to your concerns and incorporating your ideas into a legislative agenda that reflects the interests of our community. As your representative at the Legislature in Concord, I will demonstrate complete dedication in working to improve the long-term sustainable outlook for our community.

I strongly believe in First and Second Amendment rights, fiscal responsibility, and strongly supporting all of our first responders. My top priority in the Concord will be to defend the Constitution. Without the protected freedoms of the Constitution, there is no right to life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness, plain and simple. I will fight to push back against taxes that are forcing families and businesses to struggle. The solution is not taxation. The solution is controlling government spending. We must fight to keep the N.H.advantage.

I also strongly believe in term limits and was the first candidate in this race to sign the term limits pledge. Our founding fathers knew that an elected president should only serve for so long due to the corruption that might follow if no term limits were in place. I also believe in that standpoint and will take that stance further to the Statehouse.

When elected, I will be conducting meetings with all constituents. In these meetings, I will ask for ideas, thoughts and concerns facing our community. It is important that we can work together to give our first responders, schools, seniors and veterans the resources they need.
