To The Daily Sun,
It saddens me to read the independent investigation into complaints against Laconia School District Superintendent Steve Tucker. It is disappointing, to say the least, that Tucker has been credibly accused of bullying and creating a hostile work environment, and that the investigator found that Tucker retaliated against Laconia school administrators. The behavior described in the investigation would not be tolerated if done by a student in a Laconia school. How can it be tolerated when done by the leader of Laconia schools?
Laconia needs a leader who brings pride to the community, who fosters an environment where students can grow and teachers can prosper. After reading the results of the investigation, it does not appear that Steve Tucker is that leader.
